Request a message receipt
When you request a message receipt, a notification will be delivered to your Inbox telling you that a message you have sent has been successfully delivered. In addition, you can request to be notified when the message is actually opened by the recipient.

When composing your message, on the toolbar, click the Options menu.

To be notified when your message is opened by the recipient, select Read receipt requested.

To be notified when your message is delivered, select
Delivery receipt requested.

For both, select Request Both.
